Introducing S2 Enterprise and S2 Enterprise Ultra |

January 2008: S2 Security is introducing two new system level products to answer the demand for S2 technology in larger and heavily networked environments. The S2 Enterprise and Enterprise Ultra products are network appliances with an advanced version of the popular S2 NetBox software coupled with a high speed Pentium processor, and a hard disk based operating system. The S2 Enterprise Ultra adds mirrored hard disks for fault tolerant data storage.
The Enterprise series products have approximately 10 times the throughput of the solid state product line, making them ideal for larger scale applications and those requiring many network end points. The company plans to add a number of advanced capabilities to its Enterprise line, including integration with other S2 Enterprise and S2 NetBox products, forming large scale networked systems.
S2 NetBox, the company's original solid state network appliance product continues to be enhanced and is ideal for smaller facilities and value engineered larger systems. The company is also investigating the possibility of introducing a smaller version of the S2 NetBox product that is specifically targeted at the 2 to 10 reader market.

S2 Security Moves to New HQ Facility |

December 2007: S2 Security Corporation has relocated to its new headquarters in Framingham MA. The new facility unites all groups in a single building that has been purpose built for the S2's use. In addition, new engineering and demonstration facilities will help to bring product development closer to the customer while a combined support and product quality team will help the company to continue its high level of customer focus.
